Such a bitter sweet feeling for the first lesson of 2010. It was fantastic to see the students again and after two months. Many have grown taller. Everyone has becomed much more mature, communicated better and their self-help skills grown.
The feeling was as if they have never left. Such a familar sense of things. Feeling proud on how this group of Special Needs Youth pride themselves.
The best part was knowing how some have spent the holiday earning pocket money, how some spent time with family on trips and how some spent time building their portfolio. All important experiences to input into their art.
The sad part of it was my inability to undertake my dear group of Apprentice kids. How I missed them. Am glad to know that they have settled in with the new teacher and are very much taken in by him.
