Background
When i first started learning about Art (beyond the drawing and painting). I was often confuse between the two: what is Art Elements and what is Principles of Art.
In a nutshell: Art Elements are "vowels", these vowels appear in each and every word. Principles of Art are "alphabets", these letters not only make-up each word, it also associate each word to a defination. It is the Principles of Art that touches the heart of the audience.
Art Elements and Principles of Art becomes a common language spoken without sound. They are essential for the artist and audience to communicate.
They allows us to
1. Analyze our thoughts and the artpiece
2. Communicate our ideas and conclusion
3. Describe what the art piece expressing
There are plenty trials and errors, even today, this process of finding out what works best for this particular child, student-artist or group never cease. The more i interacted with them, the more i learnt from them and in turn, enable me to apply different strategies to different group, as the saying goes Experience plays a part.
I plan to start added some successful lesson ideas. Ideally it should be in pdf for easy down and a quicker way to key-word search etc. Please make do with the few jpeg uploaded as a test run.
