Paintings for a special someone

Paintings from well-loved painters makes a great lesson. Colours, texture, subject and composition are points these group of artists with Down Syndrome are able to comprehend easily. More importantly, these artworks inspires them, providing them an alternative possibility to make art.

I am pleased and proud that they somehow manage to inject a little of their likes into these pieces, making them a little of their own.

Team work was the highlight of the process, as they painted, each artist was in-charge of either a colour, adding a subject etc. It also emphasis on turn-taking and sharing.
